Due to a surgery I had two weeks ago, my field mobility has been somehow impaired temporarily. But the photographer in me is always there and my house orchids proved to be patient and cooperative subjects. The light comes in fully around 8AM, so I took advantage of it and captured and edited these, warming up for the field days. God bless all of you! Life is good 🙂

Fabs – how beautiful! I hate to hear your put up but it seems you can always find that image around you, wherever you are. That’s what you do. Since you have a little time on your hands I think you would enjoy Bahman Farzad’s Lillys. He taught photographic lighting at the University of Alabama and like you, uses one of those idy bity cameras. LOL Get Better. Luvz you – you cuz. PS, say hi to grumpy.
Thank you, cuz!!!!!
Here’s wishing you a speedy recovery Fabs.
Fabs, very beautiful, creative images! Have a speedy recovery.
Hope you get back to your old self soon. I know how you feel since I had some out patient surgery last week, nothing serious, but i am not allowed to lug my heavy lenses and camera around. There is a lot to be said for a small efficient camera. Love the great orchid pictures.
Orchids would be fun. Get better.
